    Lloyd A. Dicken

    September 30, 1939 - June 24, 2018

    "Lloyd A. Dicken, son of Ruth Ester Dicken and Sammuel Addison Dicken, was born September 30, 1939. He started working at 10 years old as a caddy at golf course, Richmond Indiana. He graduated Springfield Sr. High School in Springfield, Ohio in Jan 1, 1959. He was called to Active Duty US ARMY Sept 1959 and served 6 yrs. He attended Basic Training at Ft Chaffee, Arkansas. He became a professional Civil Engineer designing highways, bridges, homes and apartment communities without a college degree and only certifications. One of his biggest accomplishments was becoming a designer for SWB Southwestern Bell Telephone, worked in the Bell Lab on Circuit Board Design, Automatic Long Distant call connection and billing abilities - in Columbus, Ohio. Retired at age 62.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, football, and was actively involved in a bowling league in Fort Worth. He is survived by his three sons - Jerry, Terry and David."
