    Ellen Sue Wilburn

    July 7, 1951 - October 13, 2016

Ellen Sue Wilburn was born in Dallas Texas on July 7, 1951 to the parents of Mattie Brown White and Lewis Harris who preceded her in death. She accepted Christ and was baptized at New Morning Star Church by the late Rev. Walter Bookman. She attended L. G. Pinkston High School where she studied Cosmetology. During her time here on earth she enjoyed karaoke, playing online casino games before bed, joking/being absolutely goofy, giving advice, shopping for clothes and electronics, buying cars, hosting holidays, growing tomatoes and her favorite thing of all was spending time with her family and loved ones. God called his angel home to rest on Thursday, October 13, 2016. She leaves to cherish her memories and eternal love: her spouse Donn E. Wilburn, Sr. children: Donn E. Wilburn, Jr. (Lisa), Ta-Tanisha E. Matherson (Aaron), and Don-Nika L. Wilburn; her 6 siblings; Lewis C. Harris, Kenneth W. Harris, Rickey G. Harris, Rita D. White, Patricia A. Rainwater, Marcia G. Barr; her 5 grandchildren; DeMarqus R. Wilburn Sr. , Clarissa R. Wilburn, Tashailah S. Brown, Tajia A. Brown, Elijah K. Nobles; 3 great grandchildren; Charlene S. Foster, Sophia E. Wilburn, DeMarqus R. Wilburn Jr. ; nieces, nephews, a host of beloved relatives, and friends. Missing You Always You never said I’m leaving, you never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. In Life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still, In my heart I hold a place that only you can fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. A part of me went with you, the day God took you home.
